Our Story

Located in Wellington west, Ottawa, Solomon’s Oven is a bakery and kitchen dedicated to fresh, oven-baked Middle Eastern flavours — from manousheh and kaak to warm, homemade sides and desserts.

But for me, it’s more than a restaurant. I’m Solomon, I grew up in Syria, where food was about gathering, sharing, and caring for one another. When my family and I came here, we carried those flavours and memories with us, along with a dream: to create a place where people could feel the same warmth we felt growing up.

That dream became Solomon’s Oven — a place where every dish is made with care, the oven is always hot, and the welcome is always warm. It’s my way of sharing a little piece of home with everyone who walks through our door.
